What’s On In Sydney in 2022

I always love having something planned of a weekend to either do or see. After being stuck in the classroom all week I enjoy getting out and about in my free time.

If you like to plan ahead, take a look at the list below as there are already a tonne of things planned that you can check out in 2022.

  • Tamworth Country Music Festival - A ten-day event with a whole range of musicians. They will be celebrating their 50th anniversary. It runs from 14 January - 23 January

  • Sydney Festival with various events from 6 January - 30 January

  • Sydney Good Food Month is held over the month of January also

  • Flickerfest is a short film festival on Bondi Beach and runs from 21 January to 30 January

  • Lighthouse Festival in Norah Head is on 29 January featuring Missy Higgins and others

  • Sydney Symphony In The Park on 12 February at Nurragingy Reserve, Doonside

  • Sydney Symphony In The Park on 19 February at Paul Keating Park, Bankstown

  • Le Diner en Blanc in a mystery location in Sydney on 26 February - an all-white dinner outdoors

  • Enlighten Festival - an outdoor annual art and cultural festival held in Canberra, featuring illuminating light installations and projections, performances from local and interstate musicians, dining and film events from 4 March to 20 March

  • Wine and Food Festival is on for the weekend of the 18 March to 20 March - Wine Island will transform Clark Island into a wine lovers paradise on the Sydney Harbour

  • Long Lunch - in Eden Gardens, Macquarie Park in Autumn under the trees on 20 March 12pm - 3pm

  • Ironfest in Lithgow will be on for the long weekend in April. An Arts Festival with a metal edge will be from the 23 to the 25 April

  • Parkes Elvis Festival will be from 20 April - 24 April. An annual musical festival

  • LithGlow Festival is in May. See the Blast Furnace Park lit up, food trucks and entertainment

  • Vivid Sydney. Check out the lights all over Sydney from 27 May - 18 June

  • Hunter Valley Wine and Food Festival is held at the Crowne Plaza on 18 June

  • Tulip Time Festival held in Bowral from 16 September - 3 October

  • Head On Photo Festival is outdoors during November

  • Tropfest will be in its 30th year. Date yet to be confirmed.

  • Garage Sale Trail is over two weekends in November. Either host your own garage sale or go along and buy some goodies from others
