February 2021 In Hindsight

This month, I have been exhausted from being back at school. It took my body a good week or two to resettle back into the usual hectic routine. I was either coming home for an afternoon nap or going to bed by 8:30 pm each night. My body was done. So not that much reading or listening to my favourite podcasts and no energy to write as many blog posts.

So my February looked something like this…

Listened to -

* created a January 2021 playlist on Spotify

* The School of Greatness Podcast

* Ten Minute Teacher Podcast

 Read -

* Anxiety Rebalance by Carl Vernon

* New City by Deborah Abela

* Where The Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens

* The Sight Of You by Holly Miller

Splurged on -

* two Decjuba tops for work

Watching -

* Big Bash League Cricket games

* Escape From Alcatraz movie

Went to -

* Dinner at Windsor Leagues club, Ettamogh Pub,

* Farewell dinner for my bfs nephew

* Wollongong with my bff and stayed with my sister

* Watched my niece at her swimming lessons

* Valentines Day motorbike ride and lunch at Black Bear BBQ

Booked -

* night away staying in The Rocks for Bens birthday in May

Cooked -

* Stuffed Mushrooms, Cottage Pie, Meatball Stirfry, Tacos

* Chocolate Brownies, Walnut, Sultana and Apple muffins

What's new -

* My phone’s storage is full so have deleted many apps and now deleting photos and podcasts to free up more room. Its annoying. Is that a sign to get a new phone?

* Home improvements this month - weeded the garden, potted more plants, got rid of all old blinds off windows. Bought a bar stool set for the upstairs balcony from Marketplace. Now growing strawberries, mint, spring onion, garlic shallots, basil, plum, sweet potato. My boyfriend started the Efudix cream for his face so was not in shape to do any work around the house this month

* Tried out EveryPlate. Simple recipes for a cheap price. Turned out well.

Looking for -

* Someone to tune my boyfriend’s drum kit

Sold -

* 9 pallets of tiles, SMILE individual letters, farm-themed picture books

Started -

* Watering the garden every night - when it’s not raining that is

Attempting to -

* Get back into daily blog writing as I lost motivation during February due to being exhausted
