The Moon Cycle For 2025

If you're in Australia, be sure to look to the sky tonight, Tuesday, 14 January 2025, as a stunning Full Moon, also known as the Wolf Moon, will be gracing the night sky.

Here are the other Full Moons to look out for in 2025, mostly falling around the middle of each month:

  • 14 March

  • 13 April

  • 13 May

  • 11 June

  • 11 July

  • 9 August

  • 8 September

  • 7 October

  • 6 November

  • 5 December

This year, there will be one Super Full Moon, which occurs on 6 November. A Super Full Moon happens when the moon is closest to Earth, making it appear about 16% brighter than a regular Full Moon. Be sure to mark this date on your calendar, as it's truly a breathtaking sight to behold.

The Full Moon is an ideal time to reflect on your accomplishments over the past month and to celebrate your progress. It’s also a perfect opportunity to set new intentions for the coming weeks. Try creating a vision board, imagining your goals coming to life, and getting organized for the future. The Full Moon is the best time to cleanse and charge crystals if you're into crystals. Place them outside on a white cloth to soak up the moon’s energy. Additionally, the Full Moon offers an excellent chance for self-care—consider indulging in a soothing salt bath, getting a massage, or treating yourself to a fresh new haircut.

The Full Moon is a powerful reflection, release, and manifestation time. Here are some journal prompts to help you connect with the energy of the Full Moon:

We’ll also see two Micro Full Moons this year on 13 April and 13 May. A Micro Full Moon occurs when the moon is farther from Earth, making it appear slightly smaller and less bright than usual.

On 8 September, we’ll witness a Total Lunar Eclipse, where the moon will take on a striking reddish hue during the eclipse—an unforgettable sight, also known as a "Blood Moon."

While there won’t be any Blue Moons this year, we will experience a Black Moon on 23 August. A Black Moon happens when there are four New Moons in a single season, and the third one is considered a "Black Moon." It’s a rare and intriguing event, though it can be a bit tricky to track!

Consider exfoliating your skin, burning sage to clear energy, and listing everything you're grateful for.
