Lessons Planned For You

Are you after some great filler lessons to engage your students, without much prep work needed on your behalf?

There are some great websites which already have either units of learning planned or lessons all organised, meaning the work is all done for you. Feel free to use it as it is or cut and paste certain parts.

Great resources include;

  • PETAA website - Units of Work related to literature including The Little Wave - perfect for Years 3 &4. This book is on the 2020 CBCA Short List.

  • Storyline Online - ‘The Tale of Two Beasts’ teaches point of view and perspective. Check out the teaching activity guide and lesson ideas here on Storyline Online. Plenty more on the website and links to other texts for all years.

  • Cool Australia has great units of work related to text Where Happiness Hides. For Early Learning and Primary classes.

  • Nestle for Healthier Kids School Program has lesson plans for the PDHPE curriculum and provides state specific units and lessons which you can find here. It includes inquiry based resources and videos on health.

  • Inquisitive - has History and Geography lessons complete and ready to go. Find them here. Includes PowerPoints, videos, printable’s, and so many lessons.

  • Scottle has units including a drama unit called Act Ease - downloadable resources which are also captured through film.

  • Jacqueline Harvey - popular author and ex teacher has a great website with great resources linked to her books.
