2020 Stats

I was excited this morning to reflect back on 2020 and see the progress in the figures for my Laura The Explaura blog.

This is my second year writing and creating content and despite working full time this year it has been more enjoyable and writing has flowed a lot easier as I overcome a lot of self-doubt barriers.

So out of interest sake, I thought I would share;

Revenue

I made $6 selling my digital downloads.

Traffic

I had 2,952 visitors to my site over the year and over 5000 page visits.

The majority of my audience came direct through my Facebook page.

Geography

I had readers from 84 countries.

The top five countries my readers come from are Australia, USA, UK, South Africa, and Ireland.

Popular Content

People come to my site mostly for travel, then true self articles and lastly teaching.

My featured profiles each month are a very popular read and have been very successful.

My top ten most read blog posts this year were mostly teaching ones funny enough;

This year I have used two platforms to share my work. Readers are directed to my site through Word of Travel where I publish my travel blogs as well as the Pexel website where I upload my photography for people to download and use for free.
