December 2021 In Hindsight

December was a good month to end the year on. My little sister got married at the Royal National Park and I was her maid of honour. It was a very special day and the wedding was sophisticated yet simple. The timing of the wedding was spot on as the rain from the week before finally gave up and then just after, COVID started to spread wildly. It made it into our school so that meant classes having to isolate at home and special events being cancelled at school. It wasn’t a nice way to finish the year out for the kids though.
Whilst never a Christmas fan, we made the most of it with family cookups and a few catch up with friends. My boyfriend has a couple of weeks off work so home renos have started again. Excited to get it completed is an understatement. Can’t wait to have the home complete!
