Top Tips For The Best Water View Cuisine

I can’t think of anything better than going out for a meal and eating with uninterrupted water views.

That’s my kinda place. How incredible!

Earlier this year I was on the scout hunting down places to add to my list;

  • The Collaroy - it’s on the Northern Beaches. Swanky place, but makes for a great lunch spot.

  • In Wollongong, you have the LevelOne @Harbourfront, right on the water, with a nice walk along the water after dinner. Harbourfront Seafood Restaurant is upstairs but a tad more expensive

  • Barzura in Coogee has views of the beach. Great coffee and a popular spot for breakfast.

  • The Boat Shed, La Perouse is a great spot for fish and chips, after checking out Bare Island or walking the Henry Head Walking Track

  • The Boathouse in Rose Bay, another in Balmoral Beach and Palm Beach. Make sure to sit out on the balcony. Great choice if you are after fresh seafood.

  • Trevi Lakeside - by the lake in Norwest. Great Italian food

  • Beach Bums Cafe in Forster. Great spot for breakfast. Right on the beach.

  • Lotus in Barangaroo - yet to try this one out but has great reviews

  • Berowra Water - you have Berowra Waters Inn Restaurant. Super expensive and pricey and you must catch the seaplane to get there. Nice to do for an anniversary or a very special occasion

  • Drummoyne Sailing Club - 180 degree views

  • Doyle’s Fishermans Wharf - in Watsons Bay. Enjoy your fresh fish and chips while the ferry comes in

How good is it to be able to eat whilst looking out at the ocean, harbour, lake, or beach or any water source really?

Have you tried any of these places? Let me know if you can suggest any cafes or restaurants right on the water. I’ll be trying them out for sure when our lockdown is over. We would love it if you joined the conversation and left a comment below.
