Discover Exciting New Playgrounds This Summer

Summer holidays are a great opportunity to explore new playgrounds and keep the kids entertained. Whether it's an adventure park, a beach-side play area, or a local park, there are plenty of exciting new playgrounds that can make for an enjoyable day out for the whole family.

Explore your local parks and open spaces;

Boongaree Nature Play Park, Berry

This park is a must, it doesn’t matter how far away you live. It is worth the drive, trust me. It’s huge plus there is so much fun play equipment that children of all ages and abilities will love - slides, swings, tunnels, climbing nets, water and sensory play, and a bike track

Riparian Park, Elara in Marsden Park

Take a walk or cycle around the peaceful lake. Take a seat and watch the ducks or bring the kids to experience the climbing web, race each other on the flying fox, and test their balance on the logs or in the wobble house. Beautiful spot for a picnic

Meadowbank Park Regional Playground and Splash Pad

This Regional park features a water play zone with a splash pad and interactive water play elements.

GOVERNOR Phillip Park, Windsor

With views over the Hawkesbury River, this park is a great spot for a picnic and a play. Large fenced-in play area for the kids with lots to explore

Reddall Reserve, Lake Illawarra

This park has recently had a makeover and update to include a ship-theme combination activity centre, bike track, timber and rope balance activity, water play and an adventure trail

KiddoKove, Macquarie Centre

This is a new kids cafe, or indoor play centre. For kids 0-8 years old and offers mostly imaingiative indoor play. Open daily from 9:30 am until 5 pm

Make the most of the warm summer weather and explore all the parks and open spaces nearby. Enjoy a picnic and some games, or take a leisurely stroll around the park – your kids will love taking in all the sights at a new place!
