Do you enjoy leaving your house and getting out of a weekend for a drive? Whilst I mostly hibernate during Winter I am pumped to get back out for more Sunday drives as the weather starts to warm up. My list of places I would love to go to is continually growing.
There are so many great walks, cafes, and places to see within Sydney. You can find where I will be shortly exploring below. Its a long list and keeps growing. Plenty to keep me busy. If you want to join, let me know!
Places I will be heading in Sydney this Summer ;
Figure Eight Pools in the Royal National Park. Park at Garawarra Farm Carpark, walk 3.5kms in, wear proper shoes. When you get to the huts go down the path on the left to the beach. The steep climb back to the carpark. Pack a picnic, water and your towel for a swim.
The Coal Loader in Waverton. Take a picnic
Bit Bay Lookout, Batemans Bay
Coopers Rock State Park. Troll Hole Museum
Bare Island Fort - tours of a Sunday
Curl Curl to Freshwater boardwalk. Swing by Pilu Restaurant after for breakfast
Blackheath Mountain - the launch pad for the hang gliders
Myall Lakes National Park
Stay weekend at Sierra Escape - luxury glamping style or at House on Court in Mudgee
Parsley Bay Bridge in Watson Bay near Vaucluse. Go for a walk along the suspension bridge
Blaxland Riverside Park, Olympic Park
The Boat Shed Bar at Lake Macquarie
Earth Walker & Co at Sublime Reserve, Coledale
Blackwall near Gosford
Moonee Beach up the north coast
Fishermans Beach on Anzac Ave, Collaroy - offer free guided walks
Montague Island, past Batemans Bay
JR’s Eco Hut - Nangus
The Kangaloon Barn, Kangaloon
Baby Coffee Co at Waterloo
The Botanica; Vaucluse
The Bogey Hole, Shortland Esplanade, Newcastle (inside King Edward Park) after Newcastle Memorial Walk
Maitland Bay Track, Bouddi National Park - 2km track beginning at Maitland Bay Information Centre to Maitland Bay.
Seconds Creek Walk, The Ponds 2.7km
Cattai Creek Walk – Drawbridge Place, Castle Hill. 2.3km walk along the fire trail
Waterfall Walk at Richard Webb Reserve, West Pennant Hills. 3.4km walk
Yandhai Nepean River Crossing Bridge. Park at Riverside Park
