November 2021 In Hindsight

November was fun. It was my birthday month and I was out to celebrate big. Turning 40 was a big milestone.

The weather during November was surprisingly wet and very muggy. They say we are in for a wet Summer in Sydney. Everything is so green and lush. It looks great. My sisters booked a place for my birthday on the South Coast of NSW and it was an awesome weekend despite the rainy weather we still managed a few beach walks.

What's new -

* Home improvements - found two rattan chairs to replace ones in the kitchen, but they don’t come in until January 2022. Hopefully worth the wait. I moved some things around upstairs and cleaned up which made a difference. We have booked the exterior of the house to be painted in January. We did contemplate getting the house cladded but sticking with it getting painted.

* Completed my Goodreads Reading Challenge for 2021. I set a target of 45 books and have currently read 50.

* Finally did my tax return and got a nice little refund

* Did a bunch of five-minute jobs which have been sitting on my to-do list for ages - used Sharpie to label my glass jars in the pantry, pruned old flowers, repotted plants, cancelled Telstra wifi, swapped out our shower curtain rings for silver ones…

* My sister has just decided to get married before the end of the year, meaning she will plan it all in less than six weeks. It’s been fun making preparations and is going to be a beautiful day
