Out There
The sun rises, and suns set.
Birds sings and birds rest.
The fridge hums,
Children call for their mum.
Washing spins, washing dries.
Planes take off into the sky.
Someone stumbles, someone falls,
Someone sends a message, someone takes a call.
Time goes past as clocks tick,
Sport is played and balls are kicked.
Train doors open, train horns blast
Arms get broken, doctors apply a cast.
Sheep are shorn, sheep are rounded,
Meat is weighed, meat is pounded.
Working days are done.
Everyone is home having fun.
Dinner is cooked, dinner is served
Dishes are done. Dessert was well deserved.
