Have Fun With Augmented Reality Apps

Augmented Reality is lots of fun. And children of all ages enjoy having a play around with it.

augmented-reality

There is no need for 3D glasses, things just transform in front of you. Some great apps to use that will engage your students without a doubt include;

  • the Animal Safari app where animals appear in the room right in front of you. So much fun to be had with this app. Our principal used it one week for her weekly message during lockdown to show animals visiting the classrooms and playground. The families loved it

  • Alive Studios which you can check out on Instagram, have created Maths Alive and other curriculum kits you can buy to use in class

  • Spatial – more so for teachers or upper primary classes. Spatial creates virtual spaces for you to meet in. Good to have a play around with un our current lockdown conditions

  • Quiver - allows colouring pages to pop into 3-D via augmented reality. One the kids really love

  • solAR - allows you to see the planets in 3D and explore the solar system Fascinating if space is your jam

Transform your students learning and blow their minds with the amount of imaginative and creative fun they can get up to.
